Cedar Creek Estate Winery in Kelowna is a lovely spot to hold a wedding ceremony. It’s perfect if your guests number around eighty. There are no reception facilities, but this is great because this allows for a completely different look for your reception. Variety is the spice of life, as they say. In Stephanie and Travis’ case, the Hotel Eldorado provided a great reception venue with a beautiful second-floor ballroom, which basks in gorgeous light late in the day. The patio over-looks the marina, which also provides many photo opportunities. But before we headed to the Eldorado, I took Stephanie and Travis to one of my favourite locations for their formal wedding portraits. The sun was high, but we managed to find some shade, and this is where Stephanie really shined. For the most part, Travis was happy to stand back and watch as we photographed his beautiful wife. Eventually though, she insisted that he be included. These two make such a wonderful couple. I could tell when I first met them for their engagement session in Vancouver, that they were in love, really and truly in love. I wish you both all the happiness in the world!
