Kelowna Wedding Venues | Caldwell Heritage Farm
One of the Best Small-Wedding Venues in Kelowna
So what makes Caldwell Heritage Farm one of the best wedding venues in Kelowna? Well, for one thing, it’s absolutely beautiful. Unlike most other venues in the Okanagan, it has trees, which provide shade. This place is a photographers dream location.
Tucked away up in the hills of East Kelowna, this private farm is the pride and joy of Kristi and James Caldwell. And yes, it’s an actual farm, with animals.
I Don’t Just Love This Property Because I’m a Photographer
Caldwell Heritage Farm sits on quite a few acres, many of which are populated by beautiful, tall pine trees. The lawns are painstakingly maintained, and are always green. The gardens are attended to with loving hands. It really is a fairy-tale place. It’s a place you could hold your wedding ceremony, family photos, formal portraits and a catered reception, all without leaving the property. Not many venues in Kelowna can offer that.
So how many guests can this venue accommodate? Well for specifics, I would direct you to their website here. For the weddings I’ve attended, the number of guests numbered approximately eighty to one hundred. Parking is not plentiful, so you will be wise to co-ordinate some sort of shuttle or mass transit.
There are no kitchen facilities, so your reception will have to be catered. There are many in the Kelowna area from which to choose. Some of my favorites are: The Chef In Stead, Deli City, and The Foodlums.
Actual Weddings at Caldwell Heritage Farm
I was lucky to photograph the wedding of Taylor and Gord here in July of 2017. It was my first wedding at Caldwell Heritage Farm. I had never heard of this place before Taylor informed me. Of course, I had to scout this new location, and man oh man, was I excited. It’s easily one of my favorite venues.
Natalie and Scott held their ceremony at Caldwell, but their reception was at the Harvest Golf Club, about a ten to fifteen minute drive from Caldwell.
