Brianna was totally laid back the morning of her wedding. Although I usually avoid photographing someone while they are eating, Brianna was chillin’ with a carrot muffin, and taking her sweet time. Her makeup artist stepped away for a moment and I had to take advantage of the opportunity. Some how, snacking on a muffin looks beautiful when Brianna does it.
Speaking of chillin’, the boys were kickin’ back with their new flasks, (guys are so easy to please, right?) By the time I showed up, it was time to get going, and Kyle hadn’t even ironed his shirt yet. No matter, it still only took the guys about ten minutes to get ready.
In the end everyone was on time, and we were off to the Laurel Packinghouse for their ceremony. It was a short, but very sweet affair, presided over by the wonderful Scott Lanigan, who did an awesome job.
After the family photos, the rain threatened, but Brianna and Kyle were undeterred – though I did bring my umbrella. These two were great sports, but as soon as I suggested we take cover inside Gio’s Coffee, they were totally on board. Gio was gracious enough to make a special coffee and dessert for them, which they enjoyed while we waited for the rain to subside. They say it’s good luck, right? Well I don’t think they will need it. I do wish you both all the best! ~Neil
