Olja & Adam ~ Oak Estate Winery
September and October offer some of the best light at Oak Estate Winery. The scenery is absolutely spectacular. It’s a rare gem in the Okanagan. Oak Estate is also one of those venues that has everything you need right on site. If you can book the Villa, your accommodations are taken care of. The ceremony takes place on a cliff overlooking Okanagan Lake. The sage brush and vineyards provide all the photo opportunities you could want. There’s not much shade anywhere, but that’s why September and October are the best months to hold a wedding at Oak Estate Winery; the sun is politely veiled with a few clouds here and there. Plus it tends to dip behind the hill fairly early in the day.
The bride and groom stood hand in hand, their hearts overflowing with joy as they looked out over the lush vineyards of Oak Estate Winery. The sun was setting on this perfect summer day in Summerland, British Columbia, casting a warm golden glow over the landscape. They had chosen this idyllic location to celebrate their wedding, surrounded by family and friends, and the beauty of nature.
As they took in the breathtaking views, they couldn’t help but feel grateful for this moment. They had waited so long for this day to come, and now, as they stood before their loved ones, they knew that all of the planning and preparation had been worth it.
The ceremony was simple yet elegant, with the soft sound of the breeze rustling through the leaves of the grapevines providing the perfect background music. As they exchanged vows, the bride and groom felt as if they were the only two people in the world.
The couple was particularly blessed to have Neil Slattery as their photographer capturing every moment of their special day. The photographs came out stunning, Neil’s ability to capture the essence of the couple’s love and the beauty of Oak Estate Winery made the pictures look like they were taken straight from a fairytale.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy a delicious meal and fine wines from Oak Estate Winery. The reception was filled with laughter and love, and the bride and groom couldn’t help but feel grateful for the support and love of their family and friends.
As the night drew to a close and the guests made their way home, the bride and groom were left alone on the terrace, looking out over the vineyards one last time. They knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together, and they couldn’t wait to see what the future held.
Oak Estate Winery provided a picturesque and romantic setting for their special day and having Neil Slattery as their photographer made it even more perfect. The memories of their special day would forever be etched in their hearts, captured perfectly in their beautiful photographs.
