WHAT MAKES YOU RIGHT FOR US?
If you place your wedding photos higher on your list of priorities than your meal, I’d say we’re off to a good start. If you appreciate a strong work ethic, and a professional who strives to produce the best possible outcome for his clients, then we’re on the same page. The only thing left to do is see if my dry, sarcastic sense of humour is something you can deal with.

If your wedding falls on a weekday, (Monday thru Thursday) or between November 15 and April 15, then yes, I offer special rates by the hour.
Otherwise I like to be present for your full day. This allows you to relax, without worrying that something might be missed.

The use of strobes is unavoidable during most weddings. Off-camera flash is an essential skill for serious wedding photographers. I am extremely confident in my skills as far as flash photography goes.

No. I won’t refuse one though. If you’re having a plated dinner, I just bring my own lunch. If you opt for a buffet, I would love to take part.

I always try to scout venues that are new to me. If I’m travelling for your wedding, I always make sure I’m there at least one day before so as to get a feel for the location and the light.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON’T SHOW UP?

Absolutely. From Tofino to Banff, and points inbetween are no charge. Beyond that, I do charge enough to cover expenses, but not much.
If you’re set on having me photograph your wedding at a vacation destination, I have a flat rate of $6000 which includes travel expenses.
